I am not any more writing in wordpress but I’ve got my personal website www.samiinour.com which really shows the creativity when it meets the technical skills.

I admit that I forget the blog for a while because of the exams. After that, I get started to my professional projects which have been in stand-by mode. So I had to handle them before blogging.

To start, I wanted to speak about the exams but since the results are not yet revealed I will just report this subject for later. The other point that I want to speak about is that I am learning CSS. It seems very easy.Anyway, I had to learn it to start produce some complete webdesign’s graphics. I am working with a new Coder which he helps me a lot since he don’t criticise my job (just joking Adel).

The other issue that many are waiting is TAMAYAZ blog and it’s news. I am working on stuff and you’ll see news next week soon ASAP nchallah.For your information, here are some statistics about TAMAYAZ blog and its first vodcast:

The video was played 80 times in a month.
The blog was seen arround 300 times in a month.

I think it’s pretty good stats for a new blog with just one post. what do you think guys? (I guess no one will respond because they are busy with their exams) but I am thinking that the video is very heavy for whom who don’t have speedy Internet connection. So, the first news about TAMAYAZ is that we will brodcast PODCASTs more than VODCASTs. I know it seems Russian for you but I’ll explain. Podcast are just like the vodcast but without image i,e just sound recording.

The exams occur next week and the teachers start to say good bye for the students (Yes, the last lecture will be this Thursday). I’d like to speak about my major in my university (University of Algiers, Department of English, Bouzereah).

This major, English licence, can be obtained by studying four years. The first year, we were studying this modules:

• Reading Comprehension: Very interesting module which you’ll be in touch with several language activities.
• Writing: The most important module for all the years. It is where you build sentences, paragraphs, essays as an  architect.
• Oral and Listening:  this module train your speaking and understanding native speakers.
• Linguistics: “The scientific study of languages” (tired to hear that again) the most abstract and brain storming module to understand ( but I like it)
• Phonetics: Here you learn how to pronounce every sound, word or sentences (speak as a native)
• Grammar: No comment ( the worst experiences) “Mathematics of our studies”
• Culture Studies: studying History  (The first civilisations)

          (I think that’s all)

Anyway,the first year was just an introduction to the real studies of our degree. The second year is characterised by omitting some modules and introducing others:

The omitted modules are: Reading Comprehension,Culture studies.

The new modules are: 

• American Civilisation: the American history (from the discovery of the American shores to the birth of the new nation).
• British Civilisation: the British history ( from the natives Celtics and invaders to the Middle ages)
• English Literature: studying the masterpiece of the Romantic English writers and learn the criticique’s techniques. The novel that we’ve studied is:
  •  ”Jane Eyre” Written by Charlotte Brontë
• American Literature: American writers ( We’ve studied many short stories:
  •  ”Rip Van Winkle” by  Washington Irving
  • “Common Sense” by Thomas Paine (a political pamphlet)
  • “The Fall of the House of Usher” by Edgar Allan Poe
  • Rappaccini’s Daughter by Nathaniel Hawthorne

ACADEMIC EARTH.org  is a website that offers open academic video courses from several American universities.

 The courses are composed of many lectures which let you feel that you are an American student. In addition, the videos are covering many specialities: Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, English, Entrepreneurship, History, Law, Mathematics,Medicine, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Religion.

Since I am a student of English I chose this video:

It’s a long time that  I haven’t seen my wordpress and the reasons are clear. From the 1st Jan I am working on two websites.

Unfortunately, the websites are not ready yet. So, I’ll be absent for more little time to publish “MY BIG” project TAMAYAZ.

Absent for a long time but back with many news. The first is that  my blog will not trust me. I said that just because I stared writing at knol(I won’t leave my blog). knol ,as a cousin said to me (Hi raof), is the wiki encyclopedia of social knowledge. To make things clear, knol is a challenger of Wikipedia.The main difference is that the articles are more free to be publish but ranked by the users themselves. I wrote in that website an article about GTD but this time not in English but in Arabic.

many months ago, I was thinking  to write in the language that my holy book was written with. I did it indeed to have  a contribution to my Arabic and Muslim community.

I started two days a go the graphic production of  the first TAMAYAZ vodcast but I did not find free time to post about it in the blog. It looks great but I am always facing problems.Troubles are in implementing audio and my voice. The audio was not allowed to be imported to After Effects (Adobe software for Video FX). In addition, I have not such a wonderful voice to be heard and I am confused about it.
